From SUNDAY ODE, Abuja INDICATIONS emerged yesterday that some of the indicted marketers of the fuel subsidy controversy have commenced refund of fraudulently obtained payments into coffers of the Federal Government of Nigeria. This was sequel to the meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) presided over by Vice President Namadi Sambo in the Aso Villa State House. Speaking with State House correspondents on the outcome of the meeting, Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State also declared the Council’s support for the government’s stance on the refund of illegally paid-out subsidy to companies indicted in the probe into the country’s oil import palliatives regime .
