Security agents, especially the intelligence arm of the State Security Services have discovered documents and other plans meant to set up Kaduna Governor Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa for purported presidential ambition to set him against political stakeholders in the country, religious leaders and prominent northern leaders. Coming after the governor denied any presidential ambition attributing such rumour to the handiwork of blackmailers and visionless politicians, security sources said the plans were perfected just to set the governor against people who would see him in a negative light. KADUNA  Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KADCCIMA)  in league with Enhancing Nigerian Advocacy for a Better Business Environment (ENABLE) has called upon the  Kaduna State Government to streamline the multiple, illegal taxation, which it said, is the order of the day in the state. Decrying the situation, KADCCIMA media consultant, Alhaji Kabir Dangogo, said the chamber identified multiple, illegal taxation through a research which provides ample evidence that businesses are being stifled, owing largely to the multiplicity of taxes people are subjected to from both the local government areas and the state, and which in most cases are duplications. From ABDULLAHI SULEMAN, Kaduna The wife of the Kaduna State governor, Mrs. Amina Yakowa , has distributed sewing and knitting machines to  75 women in Jaba local government area of  the State, under her special poverty alleviation  programme for women in the State. Represented by the wife of the Peoples Democratic Party  (PDP), Chairman Mrs Naomi  Bajoga, Mrs  Yakowa  charged  the women not to sell the machines  but  use  them to enhance their  economic  status. She told them to also make maximum use of the items to reduce over dependence on  their husbands  for  daily provisions.
